Ultramarathoner Dean Karnazes On Endurance, Training And Running 350 Miles Straight

Dean Karnazes has rung up a staggering list of endurance accomplishments during his career. They include: winning the Badwater Ultramarathon (135 miles across Death Valley); a marathon to the South Pole; 50 marathons in 50 days; running 3,000 miles across the country in 70 days; and running 350 miles straight over three days. Karnazes, 49, is the world's most famous ultramarathon runner.
